The dedicated, fully equipped and automated telescope used for that survey will be presented. The large data sets accumulated in the first year, covering diffent areas in the southern sky, are currently being analyzed. I will outline the different physics programs covered inside EROSII, and present the result of a microlensing search towards SMC, preliminary results of a similar search through the galactic plane and of cepheid systematic studies, and give the current status of our supernovae search.
