Sujet:		Evidence for the rare Kaon decay K^+ --> pi^+ nu nubar

Resume:		We report on the search for the rare Kaon decay K^+ --> pi^+ nu nubar
		done by the E787 collaboration at the AGS at Brookhaven National
		Laboratory. We give an overview of the theoretical interest in 
		" K^+ --> pi^+ nu nubar" (the branching ratio of this decay is 
		sensitive to the CKM Matrix element V_{td}) and describe the 
		analysis done with the data taken in 1995 [Ref. PRL 79 (1997) 2204]
