Procedure for hybrid check when received in assembly location

When an assembly line receive an hybrid from SELMIC, it has to perform the following procedure.

  1. Visual inspection, read the documents. Check that the cable saver number corresponds to document.
  2. Download from Geneva database all the data for this hybrid.
  3. The hybrid is hooked to the PC card, the program SCOPE is run to look for pathology.
  4. The name of the temperature sensor is checked against documentation.
  5. The program CALIB is run.
  6. PAW is used to look at the calib output using the kumac SHOWCAL .
  7. PAW is used to look at differences in the calibration using the kumac COMAPRE.
  8. A physicist take the decision if the hybrid is suitable to be used.
  9. The target ladder is chosen. The assignment between ladder name and cable saver name is communicated by mail to Geneva and put in the database.
