MECHANICS GROUP ACTIVITIES:

General activities of the group include the design and manufacture of scientific equipment. The group uses the EUCLID 3D CAD package for design/drawing, has its own workshop and can use the clean room facilities of the dpnc for typical silicon detector assembly activities.

Warning: The SCT barrel design is in constant evolution, any user of the following information should carefully check its validity before use. (contact person: Eric Perrin)

SCT Barrel:

Activity focuses on the cylinder structure and the method of mounting the SCT modules onto these cylinders.
